We recently discovered Jay’s friend Greta had only seen “Back to The Future Part 1.” Can you imagine at this late date having only experienced the first episode of one of the greatest trilogies of all times? In a way it is a fabulous thing. It is this sort thing that makes it worth going back in time.
Think about going back in time to experience your first bicycle ride without training wheels, first ice cream cone, first time you drove a car alone, first pork rind and so on.
Of course Jay has the full trilogy on DVD with director comments, behind the scene photos and never before seen footage.
Greta wasn’t as excited as we were because she didn’t know what she didn’t know. I guess you could say this adventure was akin to the anticipation of a new Star Wars or Harry Potter movie. Except we weren’t waiting for a movie we were anticipating Greta’s reaction to the movie.
Every one has their favorite scene. My favorite scene is when Marty is incognito back in Hill Dale and is calling Doc on a hand held 2 way radio. Marty looks comedic in a fedora hat, sunglasses and leather jacket. I am not sure of the specific model 2 way radio but I am delighted to see him using a radio.
Grayson reports in a later scene Marty has beefed up his 2 way radio performance by adding a larger battery pack. I don’t recall the scene but I do endorse performance enhancing battery packs.
Jay loves air cooled VW’s. He is particularly fond of VW buses. Needless to say his favorite scene is when the terrorist arrival at the Twin Pines Mall in a blue VW bay window bus.
We are waiting for Greta to fully digest the enormity of her experience before we ask for a report on her favorite scene. We will keep you posted.
In the meantime if you need help in finding the right two way radios for your mission just give us a call at 1-239-601-1969. Doing business with 2 Way Radio Express is easy.
