Cancer Walk and 2 Way Radios

Hi Friends,

Our office is in Naples, Florida. We are located just a few blocks from the beach. The weather here in Southwest Florida is fabulous year round. I live close enough to the office that I can and do ride my bicycle to work.

We have customers in all 50 states. We use the internet, fax, email and telephone to visit with our customers but we seldom see our customers in person.

Because we are mostly an internet business with just a few local customers we don’t have a lot of interaction with local businesses.

Recently some friends asked if we could provide two way radios for the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Cancer Walk. It was one of the few times we have been asked to participate in a local charitable event and we were happy to help.

Laurie and Robin were the organizers of the event and stop by our office to pick up the dozen radios we were providing. We had the radios all charged up and ready to go. It took about ten seconds to show them how to use the radios:

Make sure all the radios are on the same channel.
Push the talk button and speak.
Release the talk button and listen.

The simplicity of two way radios is one of its great features. Push the button and talk to everyone at once. No dialing or looking up numbers or waiting for an answer.

The Making Strides Against Cancer Walk was a great success. They raised over $90,000. Hooray!

Laurie and Robin stopped by the office yesterday to return the radios we had donated. They were generous with their thanks but even more excited about how well the radios worked.

Like most people that don’t use radios every day they were surprised by the immediacy and clarity the radios provide. They were thrill with how 2 way radios made the event safer, more efficient and more productive.

Have you tried 2 way radios at your school or business? Give us a call and let us help you find the best 2 way radio equipment for your application and budget. Doing business with 2 Way Radio Express is easy.

Best Wishes,
