The Vertex VX417 is a full powered commercial grade radio that is available in UHF and VHF versions. The Vertex VX417 is the lowest priced full featured intrinsically safe radio.
Compact and Lightweight
The Vertex VX417 is a compact and lightweight certified intrinsically safe radio. The radio uses a nickel cadmium battery in the intrinsically safe version but is also available in a non intrinsically safe version with a lithium ion battery. The Vertex VX417 is the latest workhorse in Vertex’s long history of quality products. The Vertex VX417 is a full featured radio that meets or exceeds Military Specifications for shock, vibration, humidity and pressure.
Battery, Charger and Belt Clip
The Vertex VX417 comes with an 1100 mAH nickel cadmium battery, desktop rapid rate charger and sturdy belt clip. The Vertex VX417 has a 9 hour duty cycle between battery charging.
Features
The Vertex VX417 has 32 channels in two 16 channel banks and can be programmed with wide or narrow spacing, use with a repeater, digital or analog privacy codes, broad range of options and regular scan functions.
Clarity and Volume
The Vertex VX417 has 500 mW of audio output for excellent sound quality and good volume even in loud or challenging environments.
Accessories
The Vertex VX417 can be equipped with ear buds, surveillance ear pieces, speaker mics, high noise headsets, gang chargers and holsters. A variety of screw on and external antennas are available.
Warranty
Radio Express warrantees the Vertex VX417 for 4 full years. Even the battery is included in the warranty. The warranty covers everything except abuse.
